Alexandre Gama is a popular publicist from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He is primarily known for founding Neogama, which is one of the largest marketing companies in Brazil and the world.
Alexandre had graduated with his degree in marketing from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado. He started his career in copy-writing for various companies during his youth. It wasn’t until 1999 that he decided to start Neogama.
Neogama quickly grew and won awards just within a few years since it’s founding. They even managed to win an award at the Lion at the Cannes Festival, which is very uncommon for a Latin American company. They joined the British company Bartle Bogle Hegarty in 2002. The partnership lasted until 2016 when Neogama went back to Brazil.
Alexandre Gama has won many awards during his years with BBH, including 23 Cannes Lions was declared as one of the top important people in advertising by About magazine in 2006. He also won the Caboré award of the best manager of a marketing company in 2007. Meio & Mensagem declared Alexandre to be on of the largest leaders in the communications industry in 2009. His Giant Rock campaign won him the award for campaign of the year by Diageo.
