Mr. Alexandre Gama is a veteran in the advertisement game. He started his career in 1982 at Standard Ogilvy & Mather as a creative and copywriter. His career continued onward in 1990 when he moved on to DM9 as Copywriter and Creative Director. He continued this role for 4 years, during which he became the most awarded copywriter of his generation in Brazil. His career, later, carried on to Almap BBDO where he was a shareholder and then Creative Executive Director. Continuing on to Young & Rubicam as CEO, CCO, and Member of the Global board in 1996.
In 1999 Alexandre Gama left Young & Rubicam to start his own agency called Neogama. During the first three years of operation Alexandre Gama’s company was the fastest growing agency in Brazil. Neogama was also the first agency in Brazil to win a Lion in the Cannes Festival in its first year of existence. Over the next 17 years, Alexandre Gama would go on to win numerous awards and titles for his agency. In 2016 Alexandre Gama left the BBH network to start working more independently with Neogama in Brazil alone.
Mr. Alexandre Gama has an extensive career and is one of the most known advertisers in Brazil.
